I'm American but live in Bangkok, and I sure don't see how government subsidies are sustainable. Nor do I see the Thai government's plans to build several nuclear power plants as doing much good for the next decade or so (at least, given the usual project delays, which are typically lengthy).

Alternative energy sources are one piece of the equation, and people in Thailand are finally beginning to notice a bit.

I'd like to see a regular group in Bangkok, though I should add I'm very possibly going to be taking a post elsewhere in Southeast Asia in the coming weeks.
