Hi Folks!

I am interested in learning more about the group and will be following it for sure.

Our company organizes Web Conferences about Renewable Ener5gy and have a first one coming up on the 26 and 27th about Community Wind.

Amazing speakers, great content at a fraction of regular conference. Interactive features to still 'network' with eachother. Sessions are live and recorded.

All input/feedback/ideas are welcome.

We manufacture alternatives for the alternatives we are SolarAttic, Inc. a renewable energy technology company HQ is Elk River, MN and Manufacture in Appleton, MN.

Our claim to fame is our PCS series pool heating systems that allows swimming pool owners to enjoy the benefits of a solar heated pool even if they are unable to install a traditional solar panel pool heater.

Our patented solar collection process converts the entire attic structure into a massive solar collector itself by extracting and utilizing the hot attic air to heat the swimming pool water. By harnessing the hot air from the attic it cools down the home reducing the demand for A/C cutting the energy bill by as much as 25%.

Hydrogen fuel cells are a good idea, however, hydrogen is typically produced by steam reforming natural gas or the disassociation of the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in water. If one disregards the amount of energy to produce the hydrogen, the environment aspect of steam reforming natural gas still remains, the carbon atoms entering the environment. The holy grail of most of the renewable technologies is energy storage such as batteries.

Fellow Green Mechanical members,
I am an avid outdoorsman who taught my family when they were growing up to embrace their natural surroundings in the most low-impactful and balanced ways.
I’m also a bio diesel hobbyist and have been dabbling in manufacturing my own Bio-Diesel fuel.
My goal is to help wind companies throughout the US, Canada and Europe meet their growth demands for the future and help Mother Earth recover from our past mistakes.
These are the top hot job openings for this week:
Sr.Scheduler and Project manager with Power & or Transmission experience
Wind farm Project Managers, WIND PROJECT DEVELOPERS, Site Electrical Manager
Site Civil Manager, Electrical Design Engineer, TRANSMISSION PLANNING ENGINEER.
Should you know of anyone who may be looking or fit one of these positions,
please send them my way. Thanks and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!

Is it possible to replace my ancient pancake boiler (burns oil) with a pellet stove to heat water for my radiators? I have had a guy from alternativeenergy.com tell me that my lot is too small for geo. I'm in Appleton, so no wind. I used 900 gallons to keep one room at 62 last winter in my 1880 beautiful home.

Hello everyone and thanks for inviting me into the group, Vince! There is an exciting new HVAC unit that I am involved with called Solcool Millenium, a solar powered battery banked unit that heats or cools 750 sq ft of home or office. www.solcool.net We are setting up a distribution network before going public with this product and are looking for regional/city stocking distributors with set territories. My name is Roy LaPlante, roy@nostalgicsinc.com or 805-478-9044. By installing this system into a home you will decrease the electric bill by at least 50% and the winter heating bill by a large percentage as well. It will provide heat until the exterior temp is 10 degrees fahrenheit. I also offer an LED flourescent shaped/pinstyle bulb in 2ft, 4ft and 6ft lengths that replaces existing flourescent tubes, uses 60% less energy and has an 80,000 hour life. My new website is under developement.
