Just heard this story today although the project has been going for several years now. Louis Michaud designed a Tornado Powerplant that uses only warm humid air as a fuel source. Here is a link to the site.

At half the cost of other alternative energy options this seems to be a viable solution.

My friend and neighbor walks to work...not everyday, but alot; she bought a subcompact that gets 30 mpg; she always takes her bags to the grocery and to do any shopping; she recycles at home and at school where she works; she still wears clothes from 20 years ago and shops at second hand stores; she is not vegetarian, but she only eats meat occasionally; she does little things like rake leaves and grass instead of blowing them and uses home remedies for insect problems and takes 5 minute showers every other day and chooses hand tools without batteries or electricity and replaced all bulbs with coompact fluorescents.
