I have become interested in the concept of boosting performance on my Toyota Prius by adding an electrolyzer to the system, creating a hydrogen/oxygen gas mix and burning that mixture in my engine to supplement the gasoline. Based upon what I have found out, I would need to produce a current of about 20-30amps at 12VDC to produce about 1 liter/min flow of HHO gas (called "Brown's Gas"). At issue is the fact then when the Prius engine shuts down at certain times when the car runs on the electrica…

1. OPEC Likely to Cut Oil Production
London based energy consultancy CGES has said that the OPEC may reduce their oil output quota as crude oil prices risk falling to levels below $100 a barrel. Declining demands for oil because of a slower economic growth around the world brought down oil futures sharply last week. The military conflict between Russia and Georgia, and a decline in the value of the US dollar also tempered oil’s weakness. Global crude oil prices are more than 23% lower…

If it were a few months ago and Russia invaded an oil exporting country and bombed their pipelines, the prices would have spiked. A lot! Back then, every threat of conflict, whether real or not, whether in Venezuela, Iran, Nigeria, or Pakistan, triggered oil price spikes.
Analysts said supply was so constrained and demand on such a growth phase, that even small risks to the fragile balance would spike prices.
However, over the last few weeks, the…
